UPDATED, 9:38 AM:Tomorrowland is on the horizon.
TheAnaheimCity Council gave its unanimous approval early Wednesday toDisneylandForward, the $1.9 billion, multi-decade Disneyland expansion plan.
It would allow for more attractions, lodging and other entertainment and attractions without expanding the theme park.

The Anaheim City Planning Commission voted 5-1 to approve sending the corporations DisneyForward plan to the full City Council.

DisneyForward would transform Walt Disneys original theme park over the coming decades, adding mixed use amenities and attractions.
Last September, Anaheimreleaseda 17,000-page environmental impact report forDisneys proposedDisneyland Forwardexpansion.
There was good and bad in the outlook.

There have since been a number of public meetings on the subject.
What the resort needs, the site maintains, is flexibility.
Today hotel, theme park, retail and dining are all part of one immersive experience.

So what are Disneys plans in the area?
Examples given areFrozenland and theTangledandPeter Panattractions for the original park andZootopia,TronandToy Storyelements for Disneys California Adventure.
These are just examples, however.
But where would these new attractions, whatever they may be, go?
Both plots are currently dedicated mostly to parking.
