Weisman will adapt the book, which came out in 2021, as a limited series.
The psychological thriller is a co-production between 20th Television and Apple Studios.
Lindsey McManus will exec produce alongside Moss for Love & Squalor Pictures, which initially optioned the book.
Washington will executive produce for Simpson Street alongside Pilar Savone.
Araminta Hall will also serve as executive producer, as will Weisman.
