Faison and Spencer signed up in June 2022 and the off-cycle project scored a series order in September 2022.
It eventually premiered in December 2023 but its production was disrupted by the writers and actors strikes last year.
Survivors Remorsecreator OMalley told Deadline earlier this year that he was optimistic about a second season.
