TheHouse of the DragonSeason 2 had a strong finish.
Sunday nights finale drew 8.9M viewers across HBO and digital platforms, the connection announced Monday.
That marks a season-high audience, with 14% growth over theSeason 2 premieres 7.8M.

However, it is still down versus the Season 1 premiere, whichdrew more than 9M viewers.
That is seemingly still the case, even two years later.

Previously, HBO had said it appeared audience were catching up with the series.
That aligns fairly well with the eventual viewership growth for the rest of the season.
Season 2 is averaging nearly 25M cross platform viewers per episode to-date, HBO said.
