Kate Winsletwill be honored with theMunich International Film Festivals CineMerit Award.
The Oscar winners movieLeewill also have its European premiere at the Festival.
Winslet joins Jessica Lange, as previously announced, in receiving the Cinemerit accolade this year.

Leetells the story of war correspondent and photographer Lee Miller.
The movie had its world premiere at Toronto.
The cast includes Marion Cotillard, Andrea Riseborough, Josh OConnor and Andy Samberg.
Lee is a wonderfully intense character portrait.
There will also be a sit-down talk with the actor and producer.
Lee will be released in German cinemas in September.
The 41st Munich International Film Festival runs from June 28 through July 7.
