The pairs production company,Cine Vaquero, is making the movie, alongside Panorama and Bengala.
Alexandro Aldrete penned the script.
Mendez directed episodes ofClub de Cuervosand said filling the directors chair in a feature was a natural next step.
Exec producers on the project are Mendez, Aldrete, Gabriel Nuncio and Ximena Calvo.
The producers are Pablo Zimbron and Gatica.
He also recently completed filming on Amazon limited series Stanley.
Mendez is represented by UTA, GoodManagement, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.
Technoboyswill be available on Netflix worldwide.
