Netflixis expanding its relationship with comedianShane Gillis.
The streamer has acquired his six-episode scripted comedy seriesTires,which will premiere May 23.
Gillis stars in the series, and serves as writer, co-creator and executive producer.

Tiresalso stars Chris OConnor, Kilah Fox and Stavros Halkias, with guest appearances by Andrew Schulz.
Gillis, Gerben and McKeever are the creators, writers and executive producers.
Becky Astphan is an executive producer.
Netflix also ordered a new stand-up special from Gillis.
Gillis briefly mentioned his firing in his opening monologue Saturday.

Most of you probably have no idea who I am.
I was actually I was fired from this show a while ago.
But, you know, dont look that up, just.
If you dont know who I am, hey dont Google that.
Dont even worry about it.
