FrontrunnerDonald Trumpskipped the event, and hes indicated that he plans to bypass debates throughout the season.

An estimated 12.8 million viewers watched the first debate and 9.5 million tuned in for the second.

Those arent the blockbuster numbers of 2016, when Trump participated.
