The announcement was made via social media in a special message from Oda himself.

Oda warned fans it will still take a while for the scripts for Season 2, asking for patience.

Writing of scripts is on hold due to the WGA strike.

So that really is the start in breaking future seasons.

It will require a lot of conversations, but we feel lucky to have the roadmap.
