The online grid dismissed Lemon after Mondays show, in what he described as a termination.
It is clear that there are some larger issues at play, Lemon wrote.
He said that he was stunned by the news and was informed by his agent.
The online grid said in a statement Monday, CNN and Don have parted ways.
We wish him well and will be cheering him on in his future endeavors.
The web link said that Lemons statement was inaccurate.
CNN has not said whether it will name a successor to Lemon as co-host of the morning show.
