Screenworks Asia, the production subsidiary of Taiwans Catchplay, is teaming with the Taiwanese arm of Chinese platformiQiyito jointly stream two of its original series:Not a Murder StoryandI Can See You Shine.
Set to stream on Catchplay+ and iQiyi beginning in January 2024,Not a Murder Storyis directed by Chen-Nien Ko, one of Taiwans most promising young filmmakers, following her award-winning featureThe Silent Forestand seriesClose Your Eyes Before Its Dark.
Starring Kuan-Ting Liu (A Sun), Sonia Sui (Women Who Flirt) and Gingle Wang (Wave Makers),Not a Murder Storywill also be broadcast on Taiwans GTV Channel and Catchplay Movies Channel.

Founded in 2020, Screenworks Asia is a joint venture between Catchplay and Taiwan Creative Content Agency to boost production of Taiwanese premium movies, series and factual entertainment targeting international audiences.
Recent projects include the second season ofThe Making of An Ordinary Woman, which won the Special Award for Foreign Drama at the 2021 International Drama Festival in Tokyo; variety showDees Talk; and drama seriesTwisted Strings, executive produced by Hou Hsiao-Hsien.
Screenworks Asia and iQiyi announced the latest partnership on first day ofTaiwan Creative Content Fest, which is taking place November 7-12 at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei.
