Srirams first big break came in 2013, when Oscar, Grammy, and Golden Globe-winning musician A.R.
Rahman asked him to sing in Tamil filmKadal.
Although the film was critically panned, the movie catapulted Sriram into the limelight.
Since then, he has mostly sung on productions from the booming Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries.
My mentor is still A.R.
I have a gut feeling that something will come together this year.
UntilSidharth, Sriram had avoided blending his Carnatic and Western musical influences.
We just thought, Lets not fragment myself anymore, lets explore the entirety of it.

I really dont think the gaze on the West is important anymore.
