The soap world is saying goodbye toJacklyn Zeman, the longtime star ofGeneral Hospitalwho played nurse Bobbie Spencer.
The actress died Wednesday at 70 after a short battle with cancer,according to reports.
Zemans passing was announced Wednesday evening onTwitter by Frank Valentini,the daytime dramas executive producer.

Zeman first joined the ABC sudser in 1977 and appeared in more than 800 episodes.
She was a five-time Daytime Emmy nominee four forGHand one for starring inThe Bayas Sofia Madison.
