EXCLUSIVE:The Blackhouse Foundationhas partnered withStarz #TakeTheLeadon a new producers fellowship, continuing its legacy of championing accomplished Black female creators.

Those selected to participate in its first year are Sue-Ellen Chitunya, Jessica L. Funches, Moira Griffin, Daheli Hall, and Trevite Willis.

Designed to support female-identifying, mid-career producers working in episodic, the fellowships participants were selected from The Blackhouse Foundations alumni pipeline to convene this weekend during a three-day intensive in Los Angeles.

Over the course of its run, theyll benefit from educational workshops, personal and professional mentorship and coaching, and a series of industry meetings with key stakeholders.

Were thrilled to have found a partner in Starz that allows us to reimagine the year-long programs weve done in the past and streamline the experience with a smaller cohort, said The Blackhouse Foundations Executive Director, Jenean Glover.

The goal of the three-day intensive is to deliver personalized feedback and noteworthy direction, combined with the expertise of our facilitator, to prepare these candidates to enter an episodic room as non-writing or writing producers in the near future.
