And I was like, what?

I think the hardest thing for me has been trying to stay quiet, she continued.

I havent known what to say.

A spokesman for the show tells Deadline they do not comment on the status of casting.

An insider revealed, however, that Allen was offered the chance to recur and she declined.

There was a lot of pushback early on from fans who said, we do not want her recast.

So when the Emmy nominations came out and I was nominated, I was blown away.

It was my first year as a recast.

It was kind of like against all odds.

A month later, something had changed, she recalls.

So I just waited.

There was a lot of stuff going on and people were starting to tweet about it.

They were starting to say, where is Taylor?

And there was hashtags and all of this stuff trending on Twitter.

Bring back Taylor, bring back Krista.

The show just said that my character wasnt really needed.

Everythings going to be fine.

Things come and go and everything is cyclical, continues Allen.

I just figured that that was the situation, but then I was dropped, so that was it.

There were no big goodbyes.

But I didnt text everybody.

Ive been in a place of not knowing what to do or say.

Thats really the truth of it.

And here we are on this amazing day, and I am so excited.

And tomorrow I take off.

Im moving to Atlanta, Georgia.

It just seemed like the perfect time to go.

Its turning the page on this really interesting chapter, and now were going to the next one.

Allen has no idea if her role will be recast, but she hopes it will.

I think Taylor is needed.

She was so missed whenever Hunter didnt come back.

The most ironic part of it is that its like a real life soap opera.

This is the Friday cliffhanger!
