Knowles wroteModel Behaviourfrom a place of anger.
She was ready to participate in a TV documentary about harassment in fashion when the film was ominously shelved.
She was not a victim herself but knew others who were and felt strongly about representing their stories.
So she started writing.
In its first iteration,Model Behaviourwas a stage show.
She has been developing it for television with Carnival Films, producer of Downton Abbey, since February.
I compare it to Greek mythology, she explains.
You meet a character at the beginning of whats going to be a really difficult journey.
Until then, Knowles has been hired as a writer on a French body-horror feature.
She has also written a pilot for aBlack Mirror-style dystopian drama.

Thomas Eccleshare
Thomas Eccleshare bagged his first major television credit with Channel 5sWitness Number Threelast year.
Eccleshare is currently being pulled in the direction of the latter, however.
He is also collaborating with Capaldi, the formerDoctor Whostar, on a comedy-drama pilot for Sky.
Eccleshares version is titledThey Fuck You Upand is housed at Tod Productions, run byVeraproducer Elaine Collins.
Sarahs voice is extremely funny, honest and caustic, he says.
Shes sort of like the best mother in the world and the worst mother in the world.
It is housed at Monumental Television, theHarlotsproducer run by Alison Owen and Debra Hayward.
They both go rogue against their communities to make this extremely odd couple fighting crime in a heightened Hackney.
So where does the 38-year-old want to be in five years time?
