Elle Fanningteased the upcoming third season ofThe Greatduring her appearance at Deadlines Contenders Television awards-season event.
In theHuluseries, Fanning plays Catherine the Great while Nicholas Hoult plays Peter III of Russia.
They do love each other, she added.
I dont know if she loves being a mother so much.
But I think in this [third] season, shes questioning that.
Maybe it was a man and its not the country and Im not fit to do this.
Fanning continued, Theres so many surprises and Im tiptoeing around so many things right now.
This is my favorite season yet by far.
I think we all felt that way filming it.
I feel like Ive grown playing Catherine.
I can feel it in my bones.
Its such a special project.
